Scrap metal exporters are now able to apply for their export licences online by going through the customs ICASE system ( http://www.jacustoms.gov.jm/icase ).

ICASE REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

•  Individual or Business with Valid TRN.
    If you do not have a valid TRN, then apply for a TRN before proceeding for ICASE               Registration.

•  Approved by JAMPRO As Provisional or Bonafide Exporter.

    If you have not yet applied for registration as an Exporter, then visit
JAMPRO's Exporter Registration and submit your application online!

Trade Board Limited has completed full implementation of its paperless scrap metal export licence system online therefore we will no longer be issuing printed export licences for scrap metal unless requested by the client. Once the licence is approved by the Trade Board, Customs can then access the permit online.

Clients can now simply:

- Apply and pay for scrap metal export licence online, at any time of the day, any day of the       week.

- Make note of reference/permit number

- You are able to track the status of your permit simply by logging into the system.
