Effective June 1, 2007, Trade Board will no longer be issuing printed import licences for Motor Vehicles.

Trade Board Limited has completed full implementation of its paperless motor vehicle import licence system.

Clients can now simply:

- Apply and pay for import licence online, at any time, on any day,

using TBIS

- Make note of reference/permit number

- Once approval is communicated via email or text message

- Client inputs the permit number on respective import entry

- Within 15 minutes of approval effect usual Customs procedures.

Please note that supporting documents i.e. invoices, bills of sale, titles and cancellation certificates can be submitted by email, fax or uploaded to the website.
