IMPORTATION OF MILK POWDER

 There are two main processes when applying for a milk powder importation license. These are:
  1. Pre-Entry Varification:-   Done before the goods can be released from customs allowing a license to be granted.
    • Registration of Manufacturer/Importer – 1 working day (Subject to all the documentary requirements being submitted)
    • Pre-Verification Inspections – 1 working day
    • Approval of licence applications – 1 working day (Subject to Bureau of Standards acceptance of the radioactive level contained in the Certificate of Analysis from the suppliers
  2. Post Entry Audit:-
  • Audit of their manufacturing plant
  • Customs Post-Audit Spreadsheets
