Bodies for motor vehicle may be equipped with all their fittings and accessories such as dashboards, boots, seats, cushions, mats, luggage racks and electrical fittings (WCO, Brussels).
Please note however that customs duties applied to motor vehicle bodies will equate that of said motor vehicle.
Importation of motor vehicle bodies is permitted for replacement purposes only.
Importers applying for permits to import bodies/shells are required to submit the following documentation with their application forms:
Registration documents for motor vehicles
Report from Insurance Company
A copy of the Police Report if the vehicle was involved in an accident
Motor Vehicle Examiner's Report from Island Traffic Authority (ITA)
