  • Pro-forma Invoice in applicant’s name (if the vehicle is not yet owned by the Importer) detailing model, accessories and c.i.f. value OR registration document of vehicle (if vehicle is already owned).
  • Two (2) valid identification, visible certified copies required:-
  • Jamaican Passport  - pages 1-5
  • Passport from other countries up to expiry date
  • Drivers License - both sides
  • National Voter’s Registration cardTaxpayer Registration No. (TRN)
  • Where applicable, copy of Work Permit and / or other documentary proof of landed immigration status in Jamaica.
 
Motor Vehicles - Companies Supplier’s Invoice/Bill of Sale in the Company’s Name, Company's TRN number; specifications etc.  
Motor Cycle Parts Supplier’s Invoice in the applicant’s name  
Milk & Cream Supplier’s Invoice; Radioactive Certificate Analysis Report  
Additional Funds Original Import Permit;
Bill of Sight signed & stamped by Customs;		  
Amendments Applicant’s letter of request;
Original Import Permit;
Bill of Sight signed & stamped by Customs;		  
Extensions Applicant’s letter of request;
Original Import Permit;
Arrival Notice/Bill of Sight;		  
Certified Copies Letter of request  
Diplomatic Stamp Clearance Letter of undertaking from the Embassy;

(Where a Diplomat vehicle being exported, Ministry of Foreign Affairs letter of approval is required).
