The Jamaica Trade Board Limited advises the public about import permit processing delays
Kingston, Jamaica: The Jamaica Trade Board Limited (TBL) wishes to advise the public that due to technical challenges being experienced with the Jamaica Single Window for Trade (JSWIFT) platform, the processing of several import permit applications have been delayed. As a result of this, some permit applications are not being approved within the stipulated time frame of three (3) working days.
The JSWIFT team at the Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) is aware of these challenges and is working assiduously to resolve the matter in the shortest possible time.
The Jamaica Trade Board Limited sincerely apologises for the inconvenience that this delay may have caused. We crave your patience and understanding while we work with the JSWIFT team to resolve the problem.
