In keeping with the Motor Vehicle Import Policy, Ministry Paper 36/14, please be advised that effective October 1st 2023, all Invoice or Bill of Sale submitted in support of permit application via the JSWIFT Portal, MUST contain the following:
Invoice
- Importer and Suppliers’ name and address
- Suppliers’ stamp and endorsing signature
- Vehicle Model Year
- Vehicle Make and Model
- Vehicle Chassis/VIN number
- Vehicle Engine number and CC rating
- Vehicle Seating Capacity and Colour
- Vehicle Quantity of Doors and Fuel Type
- Vehicle Odometer and Unladen Weight
- Vehicle Condition (new or used)
- Vehicle Body Type and the Steering position
- Vehicle Cost
Bill of Sale
- Importer and Suppliers’ name and address
- Importer and Suppliers’ signature with notarization
- Vehicle Model Year
- Vehicle Make and Model
- Vehicle Chassis/VIN number
- Vehicle Engine number and CC rating
- Vehicle Seating Capacity and Colour
- Vehicle Quantity of Doors and Fuel Type
- Vehicle Odometer and Unladen Weight
- Vehicle Condition (new or used)
- Vehicle Body Type and the Steering position
- Vehicle Cost
If the invoice submitted on your permit application lack the specific details required to complete the processing of your application as mentioned above, your application will be queried.
