Award of Bid to Provide Pre-Inspection, Sanitization & Quarantine Services
The Jamaica Trade Board Limited (TBL) requested proposals from the public to provide pre-shipment inspection, sanitization and quarantine services for used vehicles during the October 2, 2023 - October 20, 2023 period. Upon receipt of bids, The TBL conducted a careful review and evaluation. As such, The TBL wishes to advise the public that Autoterminal Japan Limited (ATJ) won the bid to provide pre-inspection, sanitization and quarantine services for imported used vehicles.
This contract to Autoterminal Japan Limited (ATJ) will commence on February 1, 2024. The contract is for a period of five (5) years, ending January 31, 2029. ATJ will be the only authorized entity to provide these services for Jamaica. Used vehicles that are imported refer to electric, hybrid, standard and automatic vehicles.
